Visitors explore over thirty hand-crafted, faerie-sized homes. All ages marvel at the detail and craftsmanship as they visit prehistoric caves, pyramids, ancient temples, medieval cottages, and Victorian mansions throughout the Museum’s 13-acre campus.
Wee Faerie Village event is generously sponsored by the Donald Joffray Family and an anonymous grant.

As part of the Wee Faerie Village exhibition, adults and families with children can enjoy a month of fun faerie and themed activities.Take a look at all the activities and special events!

PLEASE NOTE – During this time, Museum passes, Library passes, 2-for-1 offers, and other discounts apply to the regular admission fee.
Admission includes access to the Wee Faerie Village outdoor exhibition and the special exhibitions in the Krieble Gallery, as well as the historic Florence Griswold House and the rest of the Museum’s facilities. All visitors are responsible for the additional special event admission.

Are reservations required?
No reservations are required.
Is it stroller/wheelchair accessible?
Yes, however, the trails are not paved.
Is this just for children?
No, it is enjoyed by visitors of all ages.
How much walking is involved?
The Village is scattered throughout our 13 acre campus.
Are there places to sit along the way?
There are benches in the garden and several chairs by the river, but not along the bulk of the trail.
Does it close when it rains?
The Village is open rain or shine.
How long does it take to go through?
You can spend as little or as much time as you like. There are nearly 30 stops along the trail. Visitors also have access to the galleries and the Florence Griswold House. There may be special activities on the day of your visit that you would like to participate in. On Sundays there are hands-on activities in the Hartman Education Center.
Is it free with my library’s pass?
No, there is an additional charge of $5.00 per adult using the library pass and children are free.
Does my FGM membership cover admission?
No, there is an additional charge of $5.00 per adult member and children are free.
Can I purchase admission for only the Wee Faerie Village?
No, our posted admission prices apply.
